I'm exhausted and depressed

Just spent another 7 hours planting signs and fixing knocked-down signs. Completely ran out of signs, went back and the other sign guy had come back with a few left over so I took his.

I ended up doing about 15 more signs then got exhausted and started crying. It just never fucking ends.

Some of the signs were:

• run over by a truck
  
• run over by contractors' front end loaders
  
• run over by lawnmowers
  
• ripped in half
  
• burnt
  
• covered in grafitti
  

One of our areas is freeper central and some of our large signs, made out of two-by-foursm were totally destroyed. They looked like they'd been run over by a tank. I was planting more signs and every vehicle was a big-ass four-by-four driven by a freeper in a wife-beater shirt. Most honked and screamed obscenities.

Tomorrow's election day. I'm working 13 hours at a polling station. Maybe I need the rest.

you cd leave a few building materials, w/ 10# nails driven through them, around your work site. good for shoes & tires. maybe you shd "support" your signs w/ guywires strung to nearby trees or pegs in the ground. hard to see in the dark.

They're bigass campaign signs, scattered all over hell's creation.

We plant 'em.

They knock them down.

We fix them.

What's particulary depressing is that it's primarily our signs being knocked down (and the NDPers). Very few Conservative signs are down.

All the exhausting time and effort, only to have it destroyed by those who claim to be the party of upstanding citizens with morals (what kind of morals is debateable).

I'm sorry, TrogL. I wish people would be more mature, but these people are fed hate by the likes of Rush and Hannity, and now that the leaders of the GOP, without remorse, are outright hateful (Cheney and FU), I suppose we shouldn't be surprised by their actions.
