1. That movie got mercilessly ripped to shreds....
..and it wasn't even close to being great or even all that good. But it wasn't as bad as was reviewed and I thought the premise of the final ending was an intriguing one.

2. In essence, they betrayed their own principles to "make a difference".
She was dying, he was screwed,...and they manipulated their horrendous circumstances,...in a very sad way,...to make a poignant statement.

That movie redefined "sacrifice",...in several ways.
