Monday night and we can't get tickets for Fahrenheit 9/11 |
|
I figured on a Monday night that it would be safe to go see Fahrenheit 9/11 without prepurchasing tickets. I've been to this theater on Monday night and business is usually pretty slow.
Tonight was the except. We got to the theater about 25 minutes early and there was two massive lines: One to buy tickets and the other to pick up your tickets from the Fandango Machine. We waited about 10 minutes and then it flashed: 7:35 of Fahrenheit 9/11 was sold out
Crazy man!!!
We would have gotten tickets for the 10:30 showing, but that's way too late for me on a work night

1. Prior proper planning prevents pitifully poor performance! |
|
In short, failing to plan is planning to fail.
Just kidding - I'd be shocked, too.

I was planning on going again Wednesday night with a different group of friends. I didn't even consider pre-ordering tix this time. Maybe I should.

3. At the MM town hall tonight |
|
they were saying, at least for the theatres around here, that this weekend the theaters would like a bigger break between showings because they can't get people out fast enough. People are staying to see the very last of the credits.

4. Even if you did see the late show |
|
You would be up ALL night afterward. It's that powerful.

5. This is GOOD news. Sorry, LynneSin. |
|
It is great news that F9/11 is still sold out. But I am sorry that you couldn't see it. It is not shown where I live (north TX). I'd have to drive 2 1/2 hours.
I hope you have better luck in a couple of days. :pals:
