I have a new artistic manifesto:

I will create art which persuades you to lie to yourself.

As inspired from the opening quote from the "Michael Moore Hates America" trailer: "The art is persuading you to lie to yourself". WHen I heard that I knew it was more than just some bullshit copout to ignore the truckload of facts that Moore presents by causing the viewer to lie to themselves about.....hey!

My goal will be to create paintings and installations which persuade the viewer to convince him/her of untruths about themselves and others. How I'll do this still needs to be plotted out but, rest assured, I will do it.

I want people to come away from my shows saying things like: "I really AM attractive!" or "My charms are undeniable!" or even "I'm a neo-maxi-zoom-dweeby and I don't deserve this promotion!". Think about it - manipulative art, art that gets you to feed into a whole mode of thought that is complete bullshit - but utterly convincing - so convincing you'll sell your children rather than doubt it - MORE CONVINCING THAN SCIENTOLOGY!!!

Yes....yes....now how?

6. am still deep in contemplation of my scanner

and my camera. I feel certain I will make a move on them at any moment, but sometimes fucking off gets in the way. Kidding - will probably have a website soon. Best pal is killer photog.
