So radio says Mike Tyson is homeless, living shelter to shelter.....
I was listening to the sports radio and they're saying Mike Tyson told a London paper that he's homeless and living on the streets, as well as going from homeless shelter to homeless shelter.

Hm....

I don't buy it.

2. What has he done lately?
Just "being Mike Tyson" isn't all that lucrative.

He very well may not have much in the way of job skills.

5. Karma comes back to bite you sometimes
I have no sympathy for this abusive woman beater. He cannot control himself inside or outside the ring, and the only reason he isn't in jail still is because some lame ass promoter like Don King thinks they can pump some more cash out of his sorry hide.

I really have nothing against boxing, not my particular cup of tea, but I don't have any moral qualms about it. However some boxers, like Ali, had class in and out of the ring. And then there are those like Tyson, who are thugs plain and simple no matter where they are.

6. That tattoo on his face won't help him when it comes to
job interviews. ;)

What a tragic person he is. So much potential, so many millions of dollars, and it's all gone. Oh, and then that thing with Holyfield's ear. Another bad career move.

7. Not true.

He's living in Arizona (in a house) and training for a fight at the end of this summer.

8. Sounds like BS
Even if Tyson were unable to afford a dwelling, I'm sure he'd manage to commit a crime and get jailed for shelter.

9. For the sake of accuracy....
this is not "new" behavior for Mike Tyson. When he was a young champion, (shortly after his "father figure," the great boxing trainer/guru Cus D'Amato died) Tyson on occassion would slip out of his training camp, and go to the "mean streets" where he grew up in NYC. The things that he talked about in the interview are actually true. While Mike owns at least three homes, he is being forced to sell two.

I kind of like Tyson. While I do not approve of hitting anyone, male or female, outside of the boxing ring, I find him a fascinating, yet obviously tragic figure. I had the opportunity to meet Cus before Mike ever put on a glove. The Catskill teams and the one I fought on crossed paths numerous times. If Cus had lived longer, Mike may have had a better chance of staying focused. But a couple parasites, Don King and Robin Givens, assisted in his self-destruction.

Heavyweight champions always reflect the era they reign. Jack Dempsey and the "Roaring 20s;" Joe Louis and WW2; Ali and the 1960s. Tyson is the tip of the iceberg of a huge population of anti-social young men that live in the margins, in and out of the jails, and creating an "underclass" that this nation has not previously experienced.

10. Completely false. He still has a house in Brooklyn
and one in Arizona, at the very least.

He is just trying to psych out someone. Or that is his retarded idea of a joke.
