Anybody pick up the new Cure CD? |
|
I got it, and I like it a lot. I'd heard it was going to be similar to "Disintegration" but I see more "Wish" in it.
Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10. But since I'm such a drooling Cure fan, I'm probably biased.

3. Wasn't "Wish" one of the more forgettable releases? |
|
Oh well. The only Cure albums I own are "Boys Don't Cry" and "Disintegration".
I love the Cure, but they're pretty much a singles band (to the max). What good cuts are there?

:goes into convulsions:
By no means are they a singles band. In fact, with albums like Disintegration, Wish, or Pornography, there were singles, but you have to listen to the whole album to get a real feel for it.
And Wish was definitely not forgettable. But your two albums sound like a good start to your collection. ;)
