I'm sleepy and unambitious today. How am I ever going to get anything done?

1. I know the feeling....
I am taking muscle relaxers for a pinched nerve and they make me feel lazy. Sleepy. Lethargic.

I am going to wear a bright orange shirt to work. Perhaps that will wake me up.

5. Call in...
Under the influence of muscle relaxers, you might say something that makes this your LAST day on that job....

Boy, those things sure loosen the ol' lips!

6. Claim sprained ankle.
Good for 2 or 3 days.
Buy big Ace bandage and wear to work when you return.
Use cane.
Lots of sympathy and people bringing you coffee.

7. OK... so I made it in. Now what?
I have 5 teaching notes and 2 case studies to submit by the end of the day today. 4 of the teaching notes are done. The 2 case studies combined will only take me 30 minutes. So really there's just one teaching note to finish.

I just don't want to do it.

Jeez, I mean, I showed up.... isn't that good enough?
