Has a DUer ever been turned into a freeper?

Just wondering if anybody knew if a DUer with say, 1000+ posts has ever gone on a disruption rampage and had to be banned.

In an hour, I can spot at least 8 of them. You can tell by looking at what they write; they're either closet freepers or straight-up freepers.

1) Rude comments about foreigners/foreign countries

2) Ignoring or downplaying racism

3) ANY negative comments about Clinton

4) Anti-gay or Anti-woman comments (though there aren't many of them on this site, they still exist)

5) Dismissal of any theory related to 9/11 (ie. MIHOP)

The only thing I've ever criticized Clinton for on this site is his decision to invade Yugoslavia, which most here seem to agree with. My aim though is never to somehow "tarnish" his legacy but rather to present my interpretation of current problems in the former Yugoslavia. Many progressives opposed that war. Some criticism is fine, but it is the context and content of that criticism that reveals one's intent in making it.

Freeperish Clinton criticism, posted here, usually centers around, "well, if he wasn't so busy messing around with interns, maybe he would have caught Osama bin Laden when we had the chance." Blaming the Almighty Clenis for everything that's wrong with America today.

But that was policy. Most legitimate DU criticism centers on what of substance Clinton did or didn't do, things he signed and things he proposed.

The freeper stuff almost always comes back to Monica, Janet Reno (and again, not "I disagree with her actions," unless it's Waco/Elian, but usually ad-hominem attacks on her appearance), and Ruby Ridge (yes, that happened prior to Clinton's presidency, but it shows up often in freeper rants).

22. There are domestic issues as well...

"Welfare reform," signing the anti-marriage equality legislation and so forth. I don't "excuse" these things at all. But I do think it's important to make these criticisms secondary to overall upholding the positive aspects of Clinton's presidency. He saved the republic from an attempted right-wing coup d'etat, and he deserves our thanks for that. His weaknesses are as much the fault of the people for failing to mobilize in a mass movement as they are his own.
