Who wants to go to the pool? |
|
It's a beautiful day. C'mon you know you want to leave your office!
Got to get my son away from the endless videos and computer games!

These days, the pool isn't as interesting as video games. I am just worried about him getting exercise. Right now, he's out with friends trying to crack his head open while skating full speed and trying to "grind" on a horizontal pole. I'm torn, he is getting exercise which he desperately needs, but he could seriously injure himself.

there is such a tendency to be so protective as parents ( especially these days where it almost seems that we want to wrap them in bubblewrap or something :) ), but we can only control and protect them so much. Some mistakes we have to let them make on their own, or deal with the consequences, but we want them to be safe at the same time!
It is the parental dilemna, I guess. I was a very responsible kid and teen, but I still wonder about some of the things I did when I was in high school which showed poor judgment. But I turned out okay.

3. You should watch those "Wild On" shows on E! |
|
There are plenty of girls in bikinis on them. In fact Im not sure that they have any purpose other than to showcase girls in skimpy outfits

and a few teeners/ college kids. There are some pretty young women there, but they are too young for you!
But, even you need to leave your lair once in a while.
Plus the pool makes me ... uh.... randy.

4. I'm not really a pool person. |
|
I love to swim, but would rather swim in a lake, the ocean, or any natural water source.

There is a nice lake near here - we do go occasionally. But kids need a pool or they would never leave the house! PLus I was a swim teamer many moons ago.

Ahh, this is great!
A dip in the pool would be terrific. I'm lucky that my gym has a jr. Olympic-sized pool, and at least once a week I spend an hour swimming -- it's a great way to forget all the weirdness of the world.
