A question about Brian Jones (Rolling Stones)
I was listening to "Paint It Black" on my way home and I just remembered that the 35th anniversary of his death is coming up shortly. Do you think that his death was 1) accidental 2) involuntary manslaughter 3) murder. I'm not very knowledgable about the circumstances surrounding his demise except that it was a party at his home and he was found floating in the pool. Didn't he just get kicked out of the band a few weeks prior to this? Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

3. A year or so ago a guy who was there at the time
said on his deathbed that he and some other people working on his estate had been tormenting Brian, standing on his shoulders and keeping him underwater. He admitted to being somewhat responsible for his death. I can't remember any more details, so sorry for the vagueness. I'd take this story with a grain of salt, but it does make some sense.:hi:

6. Have you ever seen the Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus?
They filmed that not long before Brian left the band. You can see he was pretty much incapable of playing. And besides, The Who totally blew the Stones away, so it wasn't shown at the time. It's great to watch, though.

Thanks for the good wishes.:hi:

7. I've only seen still photos of that show
But if it's out on video, I'd love to get it. Wasn't John , Yoko and Julian there? I don't doubt that the Who were rocking.

4. It was murder, and one of the killers confessed on
his deathbed.

Brian was killed July 3rd, 1969, BTW.

Coincidentally, Jim Morrison died exactly two years later, 7/3/71/.
