Latino Review reported that Chris Evans (Cellular) has been offered the role of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in Fox's upcoming Fantastic Four movie. Rumored casting centers on Ioan Gruffudd (King Arthur) as Mr. Fantastic, Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls) as Susan Storm and Michael Chiklis (TV's The Shield) as Ben Grimm, the Dark Horizons Web site reported.

I can't believe I never thought of him in that role. He's PERFECT! I hope he gets the role.

There's already been a Fantastic Four movie by Roger Corman... Okay, yes, the actors are horrible; the special effects laughable, and the plot was just plain stupid. Oh, and you can only see it if you download it off of Kazaa or another file sharing program or buy a bootlegged video cassette of it at a sci-fi convention (like I did) because it was never released.
