I just started using Firefox for my web browser. I have a question about it. How do I set it so the bookmarks appear all on the left hand side of the page like MS Internet Explorer? Is this possible? Thanks DU!

1. What do you mean, on the left hand side of the page? |
|
Try Ctrl+B... that might be what you're thinking of.

everything is different from IE. I would be suspicious if I saw a similar thing. I hate IE. IE is a virus/trojan/worm sucker. Turn it on and see your system slow down and get stupid!
I urge everyone to NOT USE IE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you care about your computer's health, don't ever use it again.

Great program and not so susceptible to Outlook security holes.

8. Much better Junk Mail filters too. |

Yeah, using multiple e mail accounts on Thunderbird was a bit of an adjustment, but I finally switched over and wiped Outlook off my machine.
And the best Firefox feature (as was detailed in a DU thread yesterday) is the bugmenot plug in which helps you get around the annoying registration screens at newspaper websites and other such things.
Hopefully they will one day integrate Firefox and Thunderbird the way the old Mozilla browser was, but aside from that, I have no complaints.
Question for all the Microsoft haters out there? How are the Linux & Mac versions of this software?

Just heard about Firefox a week or two ago on this forum. Loaded it up on my laptop and now IE can go F*#K ITSELF.
