2. It hadn't occured to me before, but this

is probably why NORAD was unable to detect or deter the 4 commercial jets flying astray from their paths for not ten, not twenty, but at least 40 minutes.

There MUST have been a convention of these dratted tin-foil hatters, and it messed up the NORAD signals.

What a strange coincidence!
