Is it still illegal to shoot people? |
|
I am so pissed at my Realtor today I keep sounding like I'm talking on a bad cell phone connection because I can't put two words together to make a sentence.

1. Technically, yes it is |
|
Not to say there aren't ways around it, but i wouldn't push the issue.
I prefer you out of jail and on DU!
Let me add a Cheney Off! to your realtor.

I'll make sure and add it to the one I'm giving her when she calls me tonight. If I wasn't almost out of time I'd replace her. I simply don't ahve enough time to start over with a new Realtor before I have to be moved out of here.

3. after months of looking... |
|
...I finally found what promised to be the house for me. I told her about it the very next day and she sat on it for over a week and when we finally got around to getting an appointment, after my brow beating her, we found out they were signing the paperwork that very day. Had I gotten in earlier I could have walked with the house. I am pre-approved for more than enough, the house had been on the market for almsot a year, and had been under contract twice only to have it fall through .

I'd be enraged, too.
And I'd cut her, at this point. Though I know you are desperate to find a place, but on the other hand, has she really helped you at all? i assume she is working only at finding you a place, not selling your home?

Roomie owns this place. She's getting married in September, thus the urgency to get the hell out of Dodge by early August...when her fiance...who seriously does not like me...is moving in. So between now and then I need to find a place, make an offer, have it accepted, get the financing finalized, close, and get moved in.

10. Let me ask one question: |
|
are you any further ahead by continuing to use the same person than if you switched to a new one?
Unless your current one actually has some leads for you already, I'd say you aren't any further ahead. (or is it farther? Sometiems I get confused).

Yes. There are advantages, occasionally, to being mildly sociopathic. You let it leak out, just lightly color your voice, and people react on that reptilian level that they don't even realize they have. I came home to about 130 options for lodging in my e-mail inbox, including condos and townhouses, all within my price range, and I've got about 100 left with 40 or so good leads.
I think I'll ride this one out. FOr at least the weekend. Monday is early enough to fire her if I really need to. Won't set me that far back, and it just may come out in my favor in the end. Dosen't mean I am not pissed about it though.
We're talking a 1500 sq house, on a half acre, with an in ground pool, privacy fences, and taxes at .56. All within 30 minutes of work, and ten minutes of "'da parrrtay!" here in Raleigh Prime. Price? less than $90K. I would have gotten it for less than $80K.

Even in WI you would be hard pressed to get that much house with a pool and land for that price.
She really did screw ya over.
Glad that you got her ass in gear, though!! I hope you find something even better than the one you lost out on.

16. Probably won't, but we'll see. |

I'll find something acceptable, adn I am still kinda holding out that this latest offer on the property I wanted will fall through. Damn that's gonna hurt the karma.

Bad realtor! :spank: :spank:
Since time is a priority, would it be bad to have more than one realtor working for you? I've never worked with realtors before.

The first one to present me with a house I can bid on..... (you fill in the reward)
I personally can only deal with one guy at at time anyway. I simply don't have the energy to be bus depot.

18. I think it depends on the state. I dont think many states have a law... |
|
that makes it a specific crime to shoot someone.
If you shot someone the crime you would be charged with would probably be murder, attempted murder, or at the least assault with a deadly weapon. You wouldnt be charged with "shooting someone."
