Progressive Rock is of the Devil
http://www.geocities.com/evilprogressive/

The world of progressive rock is just a world full of drugs.
For example, the group called "Pink Floyd" (the name is an obvious drug reference) used LSD when composing their music, just like all the other groups did. LSD is a psychedelic drug which causes hallucinations and the user of LSD can get stuck in a "trip" for life-time - just like Pink Floyd's former guitarist Syd Barret, who was just kicked out of the band. The remainder of the group still used drugs actively. The band was once asked if they deny their reputation as a band in favor of drugs. The answer was "Not really".

There are clear and impudent references to drugs in songs and album covers of progressive rock groups. Complex and psychedelic music makes the listener dizzy. A full experience with this music can be only achieved in a drug trip.

Album covers are made in drugs. They present usually only surrealistic images made with psychedelic colors. For example albums Taking Tiger Mountain by Eno, III by Kingston Wall and Tanz der Lemminge by Amon Duul II.

Progressive rock songs tell usually about drug trips.
For example: The Court of the Crimson King by King crimson, Mother Goose by Jethro Tull, Dancing with the moonlit knight by Genesis and The lamb lies down on broadway also by Genesis.

1. I totally believe the part about Genesis.
Those guys kill Christian babies and drink their blood. I read it in a church bulletin.

11. It seems kind of strange
to attack "prog" rock, you know -- with easier targets out there, like, of course, Marylin Manson, etc.

Of course, you never know with these types -- prog rock, math rock, etc., could be seen to be flirting with modernism or postmodernism -- which is the downfall of civilization to some of these people.

2. This is a joke, right?
If not, I really feel sorry for the woman in this example:

"Listeners of progressive rock have often got long and filthy hair, old, colorful and shabby clothes. They smell like marijuana, which is because they smoke it very often!
They are usually communists or left-wing liberals, which means they are the enemy of Democracy!
They are satanists or new-age -believers. Not many of them are Christians.
They have no other life than their music. I received a letter from a former progressive rocker. She wrote that when she started to listen to this music more and more, she got addicted to it. This woman had to find new bands every week. 90% of her money was spent buying progressive rock records. It was a luck she got saved. Now she is a faithful Christian and she doesn't miss her p. . ."

Imagine spending 90% of your money on harder and harder cds!

"They are usually communists or left-wing liberals, which means they are the enemy of Democracy!"

But the censorship loving 1st amendment hating christian conservatives, who dont care if their fearless leader stole a presidential election, are the true friends of democracy?

These people live in a fucking fantasy world.

20. Actually I think they fit more into
the "Dogs" category. Oh and since noone's mentioned it the name Pink Floyd comes from the Bluesmen Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. She did get everything else right though... hehe

8. Pink Floyd's name isn't a drug reference.
They were named after two jazz musicians, "Pink" Anderson and Floyd Council.

10. Pink and Floyd probably did drugs
and therefore it's druggy debbil music!!!!

Sheesh...if this person did their research, they'd find that the other 4 members of Floyd rarely, if ever, touched hard drugs (except for Rick Wright, who allegedly had trouble with blow). Roger Waters copped to using LSD twice, and he supposedly hated it.

17. No, really! You can read it in the book of Romane
whatever the hell that book is, and also, I suggest, you take hius warning to "obserev" what your children are listening to.

http://www.geocities.com/evilprogressive/darkpath.html (last sentence)

Book of Romane is repeated repeatedly here. He has got to do some spell checkering: http://www.geocities.com/evilprogressive/regret.html

I know there's a book of Romans in the Christian Bible. Perhaps in his Bible For Overwrought Asshole Helpers of Satan there is a book of Romane.

Perhaps HE'S the evil one?!

Isn't it great how all music that calls for quality, an end to war, and the general welfare of all people is considered Satanic? What The Cheney is up with that?

19. or the Book of Ramone?
maybe punk rock was actually a noble Christian crusade, a fundamentalist backlash against the "drug stupored indulgences of the filthy haired communist left wing liberal prog rock community" ?

Seriously, though, this guy sounds like Bob Larson on brown acid....!

...Either that, or the dude is SLIGHTLY behind the times.

In any case, it's hilarious. We all know what a threat to the future of mankind King Crimson turned out to be... (Oh Fripp, you devil!)
