Yet another stupid, useless Stephen King remake on the way?

Producer Gabriel Grunfield, who most recently brought The Stepford Wives back to the big screen as a black comedy, was chatting about some new projects recently and mentioned something a bit strange.

Seems he's working on some feature-length adaptations of the Stephen King stories we originally saw in 1982's Creepshow. So that means, one would assume, he's going to stretch out the short stories that worked so well into full-length films, for reasons we cannot begin to fathom. Apparently the project is intended as a TV series, too.

You cans still count the amount of successful King adaptations on one hand.

3. I wish someone would would

make a film of The Long Walk, one of his original Richard Bachman books. It's by far the best thing he ever wrote, and done right, would make an amazing movie.
