It appears to be a collection of strips he's already done.
"'In the Shadow of No Towers', episodes 1 & 2
Art Spiegelman
Starting in this issue, the print edition of the London Review will be running 'In the Shadow of No Towers' by Art Spiegelman, an extract from which appears below. Spiegelman has recently announced his resignation from the New Yorker, restless with what he described to Corriere della Sera as 'the widespread conformism of the mass media' in the US during the Bush era: 'From the time the Towers fell, it seems as if I've been living in internal exile, or like a political dissident confined to an island.' 'In the Shadow of No Towers', which was commissioned by Die Zeit and is published in the US by the Forward, is inspired by Spiegelman's memories of 11 September 2001. He was traumatised by the event for months afterwards - his apartment is close to the World Trade Center and his daughter Nadja had just started high school at the foot of the South Tower - and as will transpire remains traumatised by all that has come since. The protagonist of Maus appears again as a stand-in for Spiegelman: 'This was a means of representing myself at a time when I couldn't even see myself in the mirror clearly.'"
