4. Sgt Pepper was too influencial... |
|
I am a huge Beatles fan and picking best of anything is tough. But I have to say that being a recording musician, engineer and producer, Sgt Pepper pushed so many techniques through the window that it wouldn't be right for me to go with one of the others.

5. Have you read the book "Complete Beatles Recording Sessions," |
|
by Mark Lewisohn? It's a wonderful book, a diary of all their recording sessions from '62-'70, with details of the sessions.

It was my recording Bible. I got it when it came out. I made the mistake of lending it to someone with children and they spilled some sticky stuff on it and two pages in the back got messed up. That thing goes for about 200 bucks these days. I still pick it up and thumb thru it here and there and it is very inspiring when I go to record some stuff.

Cool. I'll have to check it out. I know they had a soft cover version. I was just upset because mine was first edition hard cover. But thanks,I will look for it.

It's my second favorite Beatle's album, behind only Rubber Soul. So, for this poll, i had no problem deciding. The Professor
