Sneaks/trainers/walking shoes, whatever you call them are wearing out.
Went to the mall for a new pair.
A few years ago I went from size 10 1/2 to 11. Heard that sometimes happens as one approaches seniorhood.
I tried on the right shoe and my toe hit the end.
Hmmm
Tried on a size 12.
Same thing.
13? Jeez.
Decided to measure my foot with the foot measurer thingy.
Right foot 13.
Just for the hell of it, measured my left.

What gives?
I'm some kind of freak.

1. If you're feet measured as the same in the past...

it's time for a little visit to your doc or nurse practitioner.

2. Don't think I ever measured both.

For whatever reason I usually try on the right shoe.
I'm right handed.
Maybe I'm right footed too?
I do have an atrophied muscle in my left calf. Nerve damage.
Just had a full neurological workup.
Could that affect foot size?

But it seems odd to have a two shoe size difference never noted before, simply by the way your shoes fit.

Do your feet look the same otherwise? Is one the identical version of the other, besides size? Can you see the bones the same in each foot?

Pinky toe and next one on right foot are webbed.

8. Not uncommon

All i wear is boots.
I have to have them custom made, because of the same thing. The gentelman who makes my boots, said most people have a 1/2 to 1 full size difference between shoe sizes.
