First of all, I personally don't believe in abortion. Thing is, I don't want I believe to affect the choices of others, and that the government should allow abortions because of that.
Second of all, what is it about George W. Bush that rocks? Since she's so keen on how "abortion kills", does she have any idea how many American troops, young men and women with futures, have been killed because of his lie and his greed (860+)? Does she have any idea how many people he ordered executed as governer of Texas (152)?
Oh but wait, I guess these people aren't as important as babies. Would anyone in their right mind allow abortions only to see the unwanted children brought up in a home of poverty? And the very welfare programs these people are against could help these babies they won't let be aborted, but no, don't help the less fortunate if it means more taxes from those fortunate enough to be earning a living.
Oh, but they could go into an orphanage to find loving parents to take care of it! Yes, but it is extremely difficult to adopt a child, and many end up growing up in the orphanages which are extremely underfunded because of again the people that don't think the government should fund such programs. Here's a personal story on how difficult it is for some parents to get children. My father and step-mother both have had cancer. My step-mother's uterus had to be taken out because of it, so she can no longer have children. They only have one child, my step-sister, and I guess that they wanted more. Well, every adoption agency or orphanage they have been to would not let them, two people who would love to have more children, adopt because they both have had cancer, even though it's in remission.
<end rant>
