Poll question: Captain Kangaroo or Mr. Rogers
Who did you watch as a child?

I think Bob Keechen and Fred Rogers were both wonderful human beings.

1. I'm from Pittsburgh. Hence, Fred R. gets my vote...
...Lady Aberline was a friend of my mom's. How cool is that? (Well, when you're six, it's cool.)

5. I saw him in the PIT airport once.
He looked just like he did on TV.
Like he'd just stepped off the screen.

2. Mr. Rogers
BTW, I don't see any poll. Maybe it's just my computer.

7. Mr Rogers wasn't on when I was really young...
So I watched Captain Kangaroo.
If I'd had my choice of the two, I'd probably have watched both.

8. Fred Rogers - the only minister I know who deserves respect
I didn't watch Captain Kangaroo because of my school schedule, so I'm slightly low on raw data, but as a child, I loved Fred Rogers. As an adult, I respect Fred Rogers, and I am the poster child for Angry Atheists.

ps - Poll's still not working.

9. Mr. Rogers.
He reminds me so much of my dad.
I cried when he died.
