MSNBC commentator: "Are there some things that are cooler than others?"
Damn, it's pathetic what qualifies as "news" in this country.

1. Next up, which kind of clothespin is better?
The springy type, or the other kind?

5. Good Brockman reference!
You know we're in trouble when the real news is sillier than the news on the Simpsons.

3. MSNBC, it figures.
I heard them use the word "bling bling" several months ago in a story.
I cringed.

6. Now they're talking about how to read labels on food products...
I don't know why I'm watching this shit. I really should go read.

11. Some network (CNN?) was actually issued a memo telling them
to incorporate the "hip-hop" lingo into their newscasts..:eyes:

12. I saw a Fox News commercial a few days ago...
that was trying to appeal to the "hip-hop crowd."

They played a stereotypical hip-hop music beat, that really wasn't hip-hop, and "we are fox, we are fox, we are fox" was chanted as a few white males walked back and forth acrossed the screen. I'm not describing the truly pathetic nature of the commercial that well, you have to see it for yourself.
