That said...it is all good. I love pizza. Sometimes I am in the mood for Chicago-style; sometimes I like New York-style.

19. It needs to be really hot or cold for breakfast
I love to roll it from its pointy tip into a cone shape. God do I miss it. Can not get it where I live now but every time I go back home It's my favorite thing to get. By the way the absolutely best NY Pizza is in the Path Station in Jersey City. I think it's called Three Guys. I haven't been there for years. Does anyone know if it's still there

11. Usually New York, but...
Chicago pizza done right is yummy! When it is really like a pie stuffed with all kinds of good stuff, like cheese with the chunky tomato sauce on TOP of the cheese.

The thing is, most places that try to do Pan Pizza really screw it up, you feel like you're getting just a piece of bread with a little bit of tomato sauce and a layer of melted cheese.

Of course, New York Pizza done right is not a piece of cardboard, the crust needs to be flexible enough so you can fold that big wide slice practically in half.

OMG - I'm hungry!!!

Chicago stuff, which is unfortunately the most common kind in Minneapolis as well.

My favorite pizza ever is from the Wooster Square neighborhood in New Haven--where the real Italian-Americans from the Amalfi Peninsula live.

30. Chicago for me. It's the only thing Chicago does better than NYC.
But maybe I'm biased, since I'm a Wisconsinite by birth, but I like to at least have enough cheese that I can't see the dough underneath.

When I moved to NYC, and went for my first pizza, I stared at it in awe and, yes, disgust. "This is pizza?"

39. The food network (cable) recently did a taste test...
They got firemen from Los Angeles to try an assortment of both styles. The firemen were then asked to vote. Hate to break it to ya guys, but NY style won easily.

Both are good - I'm partial to ny style - a lot depends on the pizza shop.

44. Sorry..NYC thin crust all the way.
Reminds me of this show I once saw on the local PBS station here in NYC. Show was about sandwiches (and the like) around the country. I was flabbergasted with what the heck you guys do with hot dogs over there. Here a hot dog usually comes accompanied with some combination of mustard, ketchup, sauerkraut and/or onions. But your hot dogs are the equivalent of your pizza. Topped with anything and everything that's edible. :)
