But I distinctly recall one where he was the good kid who gets involved with drugs (could that one have been any more stereotypical?) and he ODed on "reds."

Between the After School Specials, Dark Shadows, and our ABC affiliate running movies in the afternoon, like "Elvis Week", well, my sister and I were pretty much camped in front of the tube until dinner time.
Of course, that was back in the day when we actually sat down to dinner as a family and after dinner, it was the Religious Hour with Walter Cronkite!!! I learned to be a good Dem from my dad and Walter.

Can't say which right now. Sci-Fi??
Anyhow, I can't remember a single name of any After School Special, so I am very impressed with the DUers that do, but this is a smart bunch.

15. What about that Goodbody Guy...... |
|
What the hell was his name---In my vague memories of him he had curly brown hair and wore this one peice leotard with organs and muscles and bones on it. So it was like he was "see through"...in reality, it was creepy. Even as a young child, I was disturbed at the "Penile Bump" as I've now come to call it. I still can't see male ballet dancers without becoming revolted, the memory is so strong.
And Picture Pages. I *SO* wanted one of those pens that made music when it was used. FUckin' bill cosby and his special fuckin' pen

|
I just found it...well...annoying.
I think it's funny to see like 13 year old kids walking around with Fat Albert & Mush Mouth on T-shirts and acting like they're all cool and I think 'Dude--you weren't even fucking CONCEIVED in the same DECADE as Fat Albert'.
Then I remember that I am old, and cry for hours because of it
