7. The Evil Dr. Yenehc!
The most evil, foul, profane and corrupt villian ever to gaze his eyes on world domination.

Beware Spidey! Beware!

8. I'm hoping for a Rougues Gallery of villians.
Perhaps The Hobgoblin will recruit a team of super-villains.

I'd love to see Spidey in the black suit for night-time use.

11. The Sinister Six might work
But with that many characters, I doubt we'd see much character development.

10. It has to be Venom
It would take awhile to explain but he would be a bad ass villain for the big screen. Carnage would work too although he would be like the enemy from terminator 2.

13. The Lizard
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 01:16 PM by mikehiggins
They've already introduced the one-armed man, Professor Curt Connors, whose experiments with limb regeneration (wonder why?) result in his becoming the vicious Lizard.

It's just about right, IMHO, since the Green Goblin and Doc Ock are both highly technological villains whereas Lizard (though based on solid comic-book science) is a physical villain relying on his (its?) speed and viciousness to win. This would give Peter a chance to fight someone who doesn't have a clue who he is, and could care less, if he could care about anything at all.

And isn't it weird to find myself 58 years old and willing to talk about stuff like this?

14. They have setup 3 villains possible for the next flick
Dr Connors aka The Lizard

John Jameson: Manwolf

Harry Osborne: Hobgoblin

20. I'm gonna bet the farm it ain't gonna be Man-Wolf
Astronaut finds a diamond on the moon that turns him into a werewolf?

Uh, no.

I do think a distinct possibility is using the astronaut angle to introduce the Venom symbiote, possibly to Jameson himself -- unless Raimi wants to take the time to introduce Eddie Brock.

24. Not at all.
You're assuming Sam Raimi has to stick to the Marvel canon religiously, which (organic webshooters) he obviously hasn't.

I'm sure they can find an alien symbiote in some other way more suitable for a two-hour movie.

23. If you recall Eddie Brock had an off screen cameo in the first picture
Jonah refers to him in one scene.

My guess is that you'll probably see Harry Osborn take up the roll of GG2/Hobgoblin and Curt Connors will be embroiled in things as a "henchman" of the Goblin.

They're looking to make six Spidey movies in all so there is plenty of time to get Venom in there but it certainly won't be in 3.

After they rushed their way through the Harry Osborn plot in the last flick I'd be shocked if he wasn't the villain in number 3.

As a major Spiderman comic fan, I frankly don't have high hopes for the rest of this franchise.

25. Lizard/Hobgoblin dustup
I am going with the Lizard Hobgoblin duo villain as well. But it is likely they will not be aligned. Rather Spidey will have to deal with how to bring Dr Connors back to his senses while dealing with the totally nutz Hobgobbie.

28. That's kinda what I meant
I think it will go something like this...

Connors, working on his experiments, seeks the financial assistance of one Harry Osborn. Harry, battling his Goblin demons, sabotages the experiment that ends up creating the rampaging Lizard... Enter Spidey and off we go!

but I'm afraid they won't do it.

I really hated that stupid mask in the first movie. It looked terrible--very corny.

Actually, Sandman wouldn't be too bad. There would be some interesting visuals that you could do with that character.
