Buddy's stag - day one (ALso do you belive in fate?)

I don't believe in fate...but last night the wierdest thing happened. We were at a restaurant eating for this stag. Now, myself and three other buddies grew up really tight, since age 6. There was another one for years, but he went to a different highschool and we all lost touch with him. Now this stag is the first one of us to get married and certainly signifies the end of an era.
Last night we're in a place in an area of town we never go to...walk in the restaruant and he was there. We,'ve not seen him for years. He came and sat with us for a bit.... and after he left my friend turned to me and said "That was like the 5th beatle showing up." It's like fate said we couldn't have the final hoedown with out him there...wierd eh?
