Poll question: Best place to completely dissapear and take on a new identity
Let's just say life was utterly unlivable...and you wanted to run off and dissapear, with everyone thinking you were dead...

Where's the best place?

4. Mexico works
Don't laugh, I spend every winter down there. Have met lots of "strange" folks hanging out and living on very little. One (better not mention his name) would not even use an Internet computer, insisted on getting some needed info via my access. Very interesting to talk to about politics and very very knowledgeable regarding the Middle East.

11. I second Mexico.
I had a 2 year long-distance relationship with a man in Mexico. I won't say much about the subject, but that it's a primo choice for americans on the run, and finding someone to help you is not difficult.

16. Montana
Lots of celebs go there to hide. In fact, I figure that about half the population of Montana is there thru the Witness Protection Program.
