There is a lot out there about that. Too much, in fact, much of it uncritically accepted as fact. The Nazis were certainly researching some exotic weapons as the war came to an end. Allied pilots over France supposedly saw something the Germans called "ball lightning fighters:" remote-controlled flying orbs that emitted a gas which interfered with ignition systems, better known by the popular term, Foo Fighters...
