Greatest cartoon canine?
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 09:25 PM by jpgray
I'm going to cast my vote for either Droopy or Underdog. Shoe-shinin' and funny voices get me every time. :D

39. Number One Super Guy
Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy.
Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye.

He's got style, a groovy style, and a car that just won't stop.
When the going gets rough, he's super tough, with a Hong Kong Phooey chop

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy
Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye
Hong Kong Phooey - fannn-riffic!

He's made of Teflon. The anvil misses him every time. The dog is untouchable.
Underdog just makes too many poor choices. What does he see in that Poly Purebread? She is a (Dare I say)Whiny Bitch!

22. that dog was so funny to me as a kid
He immediately came to mind when I saw this topic but I couldn't remember his name. The dog used to point to his open mouth going "ahhhh ahhhh ahhhh ahhhh" asking for a dog biscuit in return for his services. And when he got the biscuit he would hug himself with right arm over left, and then with left arm over right, and then jump yards into the air and come floating slowly down and going "ahhhhhhhh" as though there was something else in those dog biscuits besides bone meal and cereal.

35. Muttley is my favorite, but does anyone remember
a cartoon called Dinky Dog? The plot was that these girls got a little puppy who grew up to be a giant dog. His head alone filled the doghouse, and the opening credits showed him with a doghouse on his head.
