Can you refrigerate uncooked potatoes?
The store that I shop at had large baking potatoes on sale for $.60 cents for a 10 pound bag and I bought two bags.

I will never use 20 pounds of potatoes up on my own and it will take me around two months before I use all of them and they will be rotten by then.

Can you refrigerate raw potatoes?

Anyone got any good Potato recipes?

1. Yes you can...
I've been doing it for years with no ill effects. ;)

3. you can
but it does affect their taste. The cold turns starches to sugars which sweeten them and make them turn darker when cooked.

According to this article, a cool, dark place is best. Build a root cellar!

I couldn't pass them up because they are the Idaho Baking potatoes that are real large and they had a huge box at the store.

Thanks for the link!
