With all the lawyer-bashing that goes on in these here United States...
...I thought I'd post a link to a positive story about an attorney who fights for the underdog, often for no money. By sheer coincidence, I also happen to know this lawyer! ;)

It's good to know that not every Lawyer is a blood-sucking leech and I'll give you another one.

Does mostly pro-bono work for battered women in Chicago. Its really sad that with all of the shitty lawyers out there getting all the press, lawyers like the ones you and I know get no recognition.
