And I don't get it...the women who wanted to talk about sexism were first, effectively shouted down and told to shut up by men (who have a better understanding of what it's like to be a woman?), then the threads were killed which was probably a good idea so that everyone can cool off. But for some reason, even though the women who wanted to talk about sexism are not posting about it anymore, a few men feel the need to start thread after thread essentially mocking the very real claims of sexism. Why? What is the point? So you can prove that you don't just have disdain for feminism, for discussion of sexism, but that you have a whole big lotta disdain for it?

I'm not talking about this thread in particular. I'm talking about the ones it's referencing...most of which have been in the lounge and have been locked.
