21. I hear ya
I used to love a good hamburger--now I wouldn't touch the stuff.

As for Bush's baked beans, I don't have a problem with the company name, but I don't eat them because I don't like baked beans.

6. They aren't realted to W
They own a relatively small privately held American corporation. I believe that they lean Conservative but are much more responsible in terms of treatment of employees, civic responsibility, and adherence to food and environmental regulations that many other corporations. They just happen to have the misfortune of having the same last name as W, just like the my grandparents neightbors when I was little who I thought were related to then vice president Bush because of their name.

8. Yes, they are my favorite.
I am not going to take out my hate of Shrub on eveyone that has the same last name. That doesn't make any sense.

9. I just had the Bush's chilli for dinner
I used to want nothing but Louisiana hot but lately I have only been able to eat the mild. Tonight I went for the Texas medium but it was still too hot for me. Maybe it is the Mexican style canned tomatoes I have been using.

15. I love B&m beans!!!
My Dad is from Portland, Maine where the B&M factory is located. I kind of inherited his taste in beans. I remember as a kid going to Portland to visit and seeing that big old white factory by the bay.
(I am 40 y/o now so that qualifies as a fuzzy memory)

We all prefer B&M beans.

I wonder if they are available all over the US----I like the original, don't like any of the fancier types.

18. I have some cans in the pantry... haven't touched them...
It's not their fault they share Bush's common last name... it's just my own hangup. I hope they're republican donors at least. Anyone know?
