How many have been branded traitors?
We've all heard of people who have been "visited" by government "agents" for dissenting against GWB and this administration and its Nazi tactics. We've seen people jailed as "terrorists" for their remarks, people arrested at events because they dared to speak up for their civil rights, and people who have been "warned" not to continue to engage in dissent.

How many people on DU have been close to or directly connected to someone who has been threatened by the reich wing tactics by the SS since *'s pResidency?

I think it's important to realize that these kinds of attacks on the citizens here in this country shows exactly the true agenda of the chimp-in-chief, and those who surround him. It's hard to ignore people getting visited in the middle of the night with searches and seizures, it's hard to dismiss people being interrogated for their political opinion, and it's extremely important to take these things at any other face value than scare tactics and bullying maneuvers.

I don't want to compromise anyone's privacy, and if this is something that strikes too close to home for comfort, I understand. It's something I fear myself, even though one starts to wonder how much of a voice any of us have, and how much freedom we have to express that voice. My friend is even afraid to put political stickers on his car for fear of retaliation, and we're in Massachusetts!
