Three months later, I still have unanswered questions.

Three and a half months and some 1300 posts later, I still have a few questions left for my fellow DUers:

1. What is the meaning behind Bunnypants and Whistle Ass? I know the'ye terms of endearment for our resident, but what do they mean?

2. Why is Cheney known as Crashcart?

1. Whistle Ass refers to an obituary.

The late Sally Baron disliked Bush and called him a "whistle ass". You can google her name and get all the info, I suspect.

A crashcart is used to resuscitate those who have had a heart attack. It's "the paddles".

I forget Bunnypants...

2. I don't know the origins of Bunnypants and Whistle Ass

but "crashcart" refers to the cart of medical equipment required to resuscitate Cheney after his frequent heart-attacks.

or more, maybe. I think it came about because Mopaul did a graphic of Bush as the energizer bunny.
