Songs that make you think of movies when you hear them
Stuck in the Middle With You always makes me think of Resevoir Dogs.

Layla (the piano exit part) always makes me think of Goodfellas.

Mad World, Head Over Heels, and the Killing Moon will forever make me think of Donnie Darko.

Tiny Dancer and Misty Mountain Hop both make me think of Almost Famous.

Whenever I hear Get Down Tonight by KC and the Sunshine Band, I get the image in my head of the end of Sid and Nancy when Sid's dancing with those kids...that's a weird association given how depressing that movie is and how happy and fun that song is.

Anyway, those are ones I came up with off the top of my head...how bout you guys? B-)

5. "You Sexy Thing" - The Full Monty
and yes, everytime I hear "Tiny Dancer" I think of the bus scene in Almost Famous because it follows my favorite scene in the film (and one of my all-time favorite scenes, to be honest) where Russel takes acid at that party in Topeka.

"YOU are real! Your ROOM is real!" lol :7

17. Russell!
Doesn't he yell "I'm a golden god!!!" or something like that??? I love that movie! The Tiny Dancer scene could have turned out cheesy, but Cameron Crowe is a god and he got it just right, as usual! :D

18. Yes! "I am a golden god!"
It classically follows the scene where William is on the phone with the band manager.

"It's fine - he's on acid. But he's okay. Oh. How do you know when it's kicked in?"

And then...:D

On the very, very RARE occasions when I hear it, that is. I don't think I need to tell anyone what that's from.
