Does anyone know anything about Bit Torrent and Win Amp? |
|
I tried to download a show (twice) and when I try and play it nothing happens. The name of the file appears in Win Amp but the file size is listed as 0.00. I've tried to convert the shn files to wav files and I get a "no magic number" error message.
Please help.

1. Check the size of the actual file itself |
|
You may not have the whole file. Otherwise, try another media player. .Shn is not a common file format afaIk. And Winamp is not known for being a great movie player to begin with. DivX player will play just about anything I've found.

I don't know what kind of "show" you downloaded.
I've tried to figure out what Bit Torrent is about but every time I end up scratching my head. It's very confusing.
To be more specific about Win Amp, it's a program , a player that you open and listen to audio files with.

I guess I should have stuck with trading tapes. At least I understood that technology. :argh: I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

I've got a friend who is a pretty big trader of 60's garage rock.
