Sex is physically enjoyable (for most). We're wired that way to preserve the species. I can't imagine denying myself sex for my entire life (and I'm only 36).

Yes there are people who try to stay virgins until they marry. For a number of them, that means getting married earlier than if they didn't have this goal. She obviously doesn't fit in this category. Despite what she says, I think that she has no intention of getting married. She is famous for being a virgin and gets off on that.
I have come across a website that is pro asexuality, saying that it is an orientation just like heterosexuality or homosexuality. I suppose that she could be asexual and just be lying about having sexual desires. Regardless, it seems that bragging about her virginity is more fun for her than having sex.
