18. Spider is definitely better.
I've never lost a game of free cell. It's boring, because it's hard to lose. Spider is interesting because it's hard to win.

7. I've never understood playing solitare on a computer
a computer can run AI (and for most games, be able to beat you)... why a game you can play by yourself for real?

9. I used to spend (waste) a lot of time on these:
Free cell, solitaire, spider solitaire. One day I had this thought - why am I wasting my life simply stacking up (virtual) cards? I should spend more time doing something productive, even if it is only a little useful.

And I would be more productive. But work is slow and yeah, :) I don't feel like being productive at close to 11pm.
