Millionaire Advertises For Virgin Bride

A CHINESE multi-millionaire has resorted to advertising in newspapers, magazines and websites in hopes of finding his perfect bride - a 20 to 25-year-old virgin, state press said.

The 31-year-old man, whose name was not revealed, insists that he has strong traditional Chinese values and can neither accept women with an "avant-garde spirit" nor foreigners, various local newspapers reported.

A website specially set up for the eligible bachelor, who claims to be worth 100 million yuan ($16.6m), has received thousands of messages since it was launched on July 4, reports said.

While many people have accused him of a publicity stunt, hundreds of women have expressed interest, some of them apparently still in high school.
