So I got this email from my brother (Problems with Paxil) |
|
He told me he had to quit because he's been very depressed these last few days and he's even felt suicidal.
I was on Paxil two years ago, I never felt that way.
I hope he doesn't do anything stupid. :scared:

2. Get him in touch with a suicide hotline |
|
call it yourself if need be...it is nothing to mess with and if he is feeling that way, you will regret it if you don't take action...do it now.

And it doesn't make me feel suicidal. Just makes me apathetic and less emotional, for good or bad...

4. I've heard that certain anti-depressants have that effect on some people. |

He really needs to talk to the prescribing physician. They can probably change his scrip to Zoloft or Prozak.
BTW Angelus. Did you get the Job?

7. This is true. I recently read an article warning....... |
|
Mental Health care providers that this can be a side effect of anti-depressants on some people.
If possible, take your brother to his doctor and make sure the doctor knows that your brother is suicidal.
