My baby girl (sickening cat thread)
This is Eleanor, the whole damn reason why I turned into a cat lover. She's my little baby girl :loveya:

13. Merlin is such a great name for a cat!
Edited on Tue Jul-13-04 03:12 PM by Boomer
Just last year I placed a wonderful little black kitten with a family that named him Merlin.

3. Eleanor reminds me of dear departed Aldo
the best cat ever. ever.

He was a great big grey cat who was smarter than everyone I knew. He also had more personality than most people.

5. Must be a gray tabby trait...
She reminds me of my dearly departed cat NATO. Huge, strong, loved to go on walks in the country. Part dog part cat.

My cat-tolerating husband took his death almost worse than me.

17. Golden Retrievers make great nannies for kittens
my roommates Golden "Michelob" was a great nanny for my cat's brood way back when. He was very attentive and patient with them.

10. Actually, Eleanor's a tortie
A very diluted tortie. She may be a tabby mix. All the torties I've ever encountered have been sweethearts.

12. On the second look, yep...
Sorry, she just has that NATO look, immediately thought of him. Wish I had a good picture here at work to post. There's one of him that has the exact same look.

One of my girls is a gray tortie, the other one is a black tortie. Both are too precious and loving for words.

Then he'd get smoked in a beauty contest.

29. Oh my gosh, he's gotten big!
But still just as handsome. Did his color change from whitish to orange?

Our Ragdoll, Temujin (Muji for short) is just over a year old and much bigger than our 15 year old male. And he's got three more years of growth left! I need to put him in the gallery.

28. Your Eleanor is beautiful.
I have two boys, Oscar and Tiny, at home and about 40+ cats at the Humane Society. If anyone needs a cat or kitten (and EVERYONE needs at least one), we've got a bunch of beauties. See them at

http://www.averyhumane.org/

My favorites are the tortoiseshells. I've been owned by a couple of torties and known many and think they are among the smartest of all cats. They certainly are opinionated and busy.

31. Here's a more pensive photo of her:
This Eleanor sitting next to her corner hutch lair that she used to call her sanctuary. Notice her various accoutrements behind her. Sorry for the pic size, I'm at work and can't edit it down!
Eleanor thanks you for all the positive comments!

32. They're all so beautiful!
I want them all.

I have pictures of Millie, Cosmo and the late, great Newman. Siouxsie picture is still in the camera. (Guess I should finish that roll of film, eh?)

Newman was the part-siamese one, may he RIP. I still have Millie. I call her my love bug.

This is Cosmo the crackhead cat. He's not even a year old yet.
