"what God intended" when it comes to this? They're always there against abortion and contraception/family planning! What does fertilization technology have to do with God?
(I'm not against it, I just think it's hypocritical of them).

5. If you believe that God created everything... |
|
Why is it so hard for them to realize that God gave them this gift!? I mean, think about that joke with the guy on the roof stuck because of flood waters. HE prays for God to save him. So, someone comes by in a boat and someone in a helicopter, but he turns them away. Then he dies, and gets sent to heaven, and he asks God, "Why did you forsake me?" "Forsake you?" God asked, confused. "I sent a boat and a helicopter. What else did you want me to do?" I just don't understand their reasoning. They say that everything exists because GOD CREATED IT...but medical technology is evil. God, the hypocrisy pisses me off. Duckie

7. I'd rather adopt, personally |
|
I don't see spending thousands of dollars when there are plenty of children needing families available. I would never assume that my genes carry something so special that I'd have to perpetuate my line of the species. Nor do I really care for the whole pregnancy experience. I'm hemophobic and the thought of pregnancy makes me want to pass out.

8. According to a lot of "partial-birth abortion" opponents and "pro-life" |
|
activists, wouldn't discarding the fertilized eggs be tantamount to murder?
One argument against Kerry recently seen was "Take a biology course, Kerry. Life begins at conception!"
On that concept, God is the world's most fervent abortionist.
