My brother once said he's rather have a cabin on the Snake River
than a penthouse in the greatest American city. If you could live anywhere in the U.S. where would it be and why - considering only beauty, peacefulness and a pleasant community in which to live and grow old.

5. Holualoa, Hawaii
Above Kailua Kona, up the mountain. Very tropical, beautiful flowers everywhere. Small community, very arty and close to Kailua Kona so I could dive a LOT!

7. Probably His Cabin
I grew up in the country and it sounds like heaven to me.

Then again, John Glenn and his parents were neighbors of my Dad back in the early '60's.
