Whats the worst show on TV these days?
Cheaters has to be up there on the list. If you aren't familiar with it (lucky you) a person contacts the show and tells them that they suspect their S.O. is messing around with another person. The show does a private detective type surveillance of the other person. When they find some video of them hooking up, the show plays the tape to the original person. Then, the host and the first person goes and confronts the S.O. and the person she is cheating with on camera. It is a train wreck from the beginning. My friend told me that the host finally got stabbed from one of the people he confronted.

3. There was an episode of cheaters...
where the cheater chased down the camera crew with a paintball gun and opened up on them...that was fuckin funny!! Otherwise a dreadful show.

I guess any of those "Who wants to marry..." shows are up there too. There is a lot of mindless drivel on the air these days

4. I'd say "Everything between sign-on and sign-off", but...
Stations don't do that anymore...

You know, I typed a big long narative about what "sign-on" and "sign-off" were like, but I looked at it and said "Who gives a rat's ass what it was like before Tee-Vee became as vital to most people as Oxygen?" and hit the delete key...

7. LOL
I was waiting for the part where you tell us about the different knobs for VHF and UHF... and the funky antennas they came with.

13. Different knobs? Try different BOXES!
The TV had it's 2-13 knob, and there was a Blonder-Tongue box on top that took in 14-83.

Yeah, UHF used to run to Ch. 83. If you have one of those old sets, you can listen in on cellie calls...But don't tell anyone! It's ILLEGAL to own a TV set that tunes up to Ch.83!

6. I agree.
I don't remember TV in the 80s (when I was a kid) being as bad as it is now..

I mean during the 80s we had McGyver, A-Team, The Hulk, 3's Company..

I find myself mildly entertained by Charmed.. and the Fox Network TV Sunday Night Comedies.. (Simpson's, King of the Hill, Malcom in the Middle) but really little else..

11. Almost ALL "reality" TV
If it needs a setup, it's CRAP.

Only one I like is "COPS," no setup needed, just find the losers. :-)

12. that sounds almost as funny as "Elimidate"- which I love.
Especially the episodes where the guy gets to pick- talk about a typical male fantasy...
