Poll question: Gore 2000/Bush 2004 Poll
Part 2 of the poll. How many people do you know who voted for Gore in 2000 now plan to vote for Dumbya in 2004?

1. Well, I don't know Ed Koch personally...
But I believe he is on record as saying he fits this position. It would be naive to think there weren't others out there.

2. I know several (8-10) who voted for the idiot Bush* who will
vote for Kerry. These are people who were PO'd at Clinton for Monica and went against Gore, in their twisted thinking "to get even".

...but I read the news and do occasionally read about people who fit that description. I agree with the first poster, let's not fool ourselves into thinking that there aren't people out there like that.

I strongly suspect that Marc Andreessen (sp?), one of the founders of Netscape, will be such a person. He was a very staunch Gore supporter during the 2000 election, but since then he supported the Iraq invasion and more recently he withheld support for Kerry because he didn't appreciate Kerry's criticism of offshoring jobs.

That said, my guess (and certainly my hope) would be that those people would be outnumbered by voters who went for Bush in 2000 but will go to Kerry this year.
