I've just taken 750 mg of Hydrocodone and this is about as high as I've ever been.

I just feel like falling asleep.

I've never done any drugs other than pot before, and I can see why painkillers are abused so much.

Pot is nothing compared to this stuff, and it doesn't make you paranoid or give you redeye.

4. The first and only time I took Hydrocodone

I threw up all night long and felt like I was going to die. Maybe it's just me, but that stuff is horrible.

I usually vomit after I eat, which is why I try to eat at least an hour after I take the pills.

I have no way around it though, my jaw is in some serious amount of pain and I'm not getting surgery on it until Wednesday.

Hydrocodone is a Codiene derivitive and makes many people sick to their stomach. I have taken some it before for pain, mostly the 500 mg variety I think. I love the pain relief of it. It works great. I never really got a "buzz" off of it though.

It does make me move reeeaaallllllyyyyy sllloowwwww though, and I belive the prescription said that taking more than one at a time may cause breathing difficulties. So be careful ! :hi:

Last fall I had a blown disc in my neck and the doc gave me Vicodin. Didn't take long to realize I'd get to liking that stuff a little too much!

The only thing I can get for my back is a muscle relaxer, which is quite enough, thank you very much.

13. My current cocktail of choice-

when it's time to put the feet up for the evening- 30 mgs. of methadone and 20 mgs. of cyclobenzaprin(flexeril) with a nice glass of red wine.

Chronic pain sucks.

I've always wondered- When it says: Alcohol may intensify this effect, is that meant as a warning, or a reccomendation?

8. 750mg Seems Like An Awful Lot.

You should also be careful that whatever you are taking is free of Acetaminophen as it can be lethal if to much is ingested in a 24hr period. So much for not making you paranoid, ehh? :)

10. I've had....................

severe, chronic back pain for years. Two operations and still no relief. I take Norco, the same as hydrocodone with half of the acetaminophen. 2,000 mg. 4 times daily. I function quite well on it. If it wasn't for the Norco, I'd never be able to get out of bed. 750mg. wouldn't even phase me any more.

The 750 vicodin tabs have 7.5 mgs of hydrocodone, and 750 mgs of acetominophen(tylenol).
Norco 10/325 are 10 mgs. of hydrocodone and 325 of acetominophen.

Vicoprofen is a newer formulation, combining hydrocodone and ibuprofen(advil).

But the first time that you bite into an Oxycontin- that's when you understand why the stuff is so addictive.

I have read somewhere that the lethal dosage for acetaminophen is around 2500mg in a 24hr. period. I feel for you on the pain side. My wife has a deteriorating sciatic nerve an although she hasn't gone the surgery route yet, other treatments is ongoing.

11. well, I didn't take it all at once

I took 250 mg at abotu 7 a.m. before I went in to work. I didn't want to be high while driving, so I cut my normal dosage in half.

Then my jaw started to hurt at work, so I left early and took 500 mg at around 11.

You didn't take 750mg of hydrocodone.. you'd be dead. You maybe have taken 20 or 30 mg. In which case rock on. :9
