Home improvement project lands man in court
A Charlottetown man who substituted a rifle for a nail gun will not be allowed to own or possess firearms for five years.

Michael Robert Porter decided a sawed-off .22-calibre rifle could help him with a bit of home improvement. On July 5, he took his gun and some nails outside his Rochford Street residence and started securing a screen over a window.

1. You just can't fix STUPID!!!
it was really too tough to pick up that hammer, but you can waste time sawing off the barrel of a rifle to make a one-shot nail gun.

If the women can't find you handsome they may as well find you handy

4. You know...
There really is a .22 caliber nail gun.. I have used one before.... it uses .22 caliber shells in a way that drives the nail in.. BAM.. one shot.. it is actually neat to use....

This guy tried to use an actual rifle for this purpose.... that is moranic..

5. I was going to say the same thing.
There is a legitimate tool that uses .22 cal shells to drive nails, especially into rock or concrete.

Trying to modify a .22 rifle for the same purpose is idiotic.
