Man Buys Suitcase At Flea Market - Finds It FULL Of Beatle's Memorabilia
<snip>

A British man who shelled out $36 for an old suitcase at a flea market in Australia has found what could be a treasure trove of Beatles memorabilia inside.

The Beatles -- Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and John Lennon

The Times of London reported Tuesday that the cache includes photos, concert programs and unreleased recordings. The collection includes previously unknown versions of "We Can Work It Out" and "Cry Baby Cry."

"It's like finding the end of the rainbow in Australia," said the purchaser, Fraser Claughton.

Experts will evaluate the materials to validate their authenticity.

1. Unbelievable
Too bad he wasn't a "Bargain Hunt" contestant- that'd make SOME profit! :)

2. I can't think of any reason why the seller
wouldn't have opened the suitcase before selling it. It makes no sense.

3. How cool, if authentic they're probably worth lots of money.
Wish my mom hadn't thrown out all my Beatle Bubblegum Cards. I had 100's of them. But at least I got to see them live in concert in Detroit, 9/6/64. Almost 40 years ago. I still have the albums, a scrapbook and the Beatle magazines. It sure made the 1960's fun.
