Remember the frequent caller to Mike Malloy's show...

...who spoke with a bad speech impediment? It sounded like he had a brain injury, but it could have been cerebral palsy. Anyway, he always had intelligent and interesting comments, and although he was a bit hard to understand, Mike was always patient and never condescending.

I always felt so proud that Mike always took those calls and never made an issue of it.

Do you think "Mervyn Snerdly" would let such a caller through to "El Rushbo?

And if he did, would the Maharushie ridicule him, hang up on him, assume he was a crank caller?

I was holding my breath, hoping she would not be impatient or jump to any conclusions about him. To her credit, she was very considerate of him and did not cut him off or finish his thoughts for him. I think he has cerebral palsy.
